What is in the softgel
Besides fish oil, each softgel contains gelatin, vegetable glycerin and natural mixed tocopherols. It contains fish (anchovy, herring, mackerel and sardine). The label describes it as free of gluten, wheat, dairy, yeast, sugar, sodium, artificial flavour, sweetener, preservatives and colour.
About the omega-3 source
Solgar describes Omega 3 950 mg as its highest concentration of the natural omega-3 polyunsaturates EPA and DHA, taken from cold-water fish. The manufacturer states that the oil is molecularly distilled to remove mercury. It is also labelled non-GMO, and the brand has been making supplements since 1947.
