Ultimate OmegaNordic Naturals Ultimate Omega, Lemon, 237 ml (8 fl oz)

A liquid fish oil in a teaspoon serving

Ultimate Omega is a fish oil supplement made from purified deep sea fish oil from anchovies, sardines, mackerel and herring. Nordic Naturals says it uses fresh, wild-caught fish and delivers the omega-3s in re-esterified triglyceride form.

A lemon flavour and a daily teaspoon

The oil is flavoured with natural flavour, and the brand describes a lemon taste with no fishy aftertaste. A serving is one teaspoon (about 5 ml) daily with food, so the 237 ml (8 fl oz) bottle gives roughly 47 servings.

Sustainability and testing

Nordic Naturals states the fish oil is Friend of the Sea certified sustainable and Igen non-GMO tested, and that it contains no gluten, milk derivatives or synthetic dyes. The formula also contains rosemary extract as a natural preservative and RRR-alpha tocopherol as an antioxidant.
