Product details

A liquid format with a natural orange taste

This is a liquid rather than a capsule, so it is measured by the spoonful at mealtimes. Natural flavours give the orange taste, and the oil is kept stable with a blend of natural mixed tocopherols and rosemary extract, which make up less than 0.5% of the formula.

What the label tells you

The label lists 800 mg of omega-3s and 2,300 mg per serving, and the listing mentions Igen non-GMO testing, IFOS and Friend of the Sea marks. Carlson states the oil is regularly tested by independent laboratories for freshness, potency and contaminants, and says it has supplied Norwegian omega-3s since 1982.

How to use

Children aged 1 year and over take 1/2 teaspoonful once or twice daily at mealtime. Consult your paediatrician before giving to children under 1 year. Refrigerate after opening and use within 100 days.

Before you choose

Contains fish (anchovy, sardine, mackerel). The label directions cover children from 1 year of age; ask your paediatrician before giving it to younger children. Gluten free with no artificial preservatives, according to the manufacturer. Food supplement. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Not a substitute for a varied diet. Keep out of reach of children. Consult a doctor before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or under medical supervision. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
