A one-drop-a-day liquid for children

This liquid supplement combines vitamins D3 and K2, and the front of the pack shows 25 mcg (1,000 IU) and 22.5 mcg respectively. The vitamin K2 is MenaQ7, which the label says is derived from chickpeas. The label counts 360 vegetarian drops in the bottle.

Label and formula notes

The drops are carried in medium-chain triglyceride oil from coconut and palm sources, with an antioxidant blend of d-alpha tocopherol and rosemary extract. The label lists it as gluten free, soy free, non-GMO tested and free of artificial preservatives, and says it is made in an FDA-regulated facility.

How to use

For children aged 4 years or older, take one drop daily, or as directed by your healthcare professional. It may be added to food or a drink.

Before you choose

Vitamin K can antagonise the effect of anticoagulants, including warfarin. The label says not to take this product if you are taking warfarin, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, without first consulting your doctor.
