D-mannose is a naturally occurring simple sugar, and the manufacturer says the body metabolises only small amounts, with the excess excreted in urine. This NOW Foods version is non-GMO Project Verified, vegetarian/vegan and kosher, in a hypromellose capsule with rice flour and vegetable-source stearic acid and magnesium stearate.

How the bottle works out

Each serving is three 500 mg capsules, and you can take it between one and three times daily. At the lowest suggested amount, one serving a day, the bottle lasts 80 days. The label suggests taking the capsules with water or unsweetened juice, such as unsweetened cranberry juice.
