Frontier's spearmint (Mentha spicata) has a gentle, slightly sweet flavour and a minty aroma. The label lists it as USDA organic, certified organic by QAI, kosher and non-irradiated, with the United States given as the origin.

Ways to use it in the kitchen

The cut and sifted leaf suits tea, but the brand also suggests adding it to yoghurt, smoothies, salads, berries, fruit dishes, sauces, jams and iced drinks. It can also be steeped in water to make spearmint tea at home.

How to use

For tea, pour 240 ml (8 oz) of boiling water over 1 teaspoon of leaf, cover and steep for 3-5 minutes, then strain and serve straight away.
