Dr. Bronner's draws on 150 years and five generations of family soap-making, and this paste uses saponified coconut oil in place of synthetic detergent foaming agents. The manufacturer states that 70% of the ingredients are organic and that it uses fair trade ingredients. It is made in the USA.
