Omega-3 in tablet form rather than an oil
EurOmega-3 is extracted from North Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) using water and enzymes, then pressed into tablets, so there is no oil capsule to swallow. The manufacturer says the DHA and EPA are bound to phospholipids alongside naturally occurring peptides, in a 2:1 ratio. The label also states there is no fishy after-taste.
What each serving provides
A serving of two tablets supplies 584 mg of the omega-3 phospholipid peptide complex. The label states the product is non-GMO and made in a cGMP compliant facility, and the manufacturer says heavy metal analysis is carried out on every batch using the ICP-MS method.
Bottle size and who it is labelled for
The bottle contains 60 tablets. The directions cover adults and children aged six and over, with a lower amount for children. According to the label the tablets contain no added sugar, salt, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, soy or dairy, and a little lemon essential oil is included in the formula.
How to use
Adults: take 1-2 tablets daily. Children aged 6 and over: take 1 tablet daily. The amount may be increased if recommended by your healthcare practitioner.
