Omega-3 from algae instead of fish

These softgels take their EPA and DHA from algae rather than fish, using the Life's Omega ingredient, and are labelled suitable for vegans and vegetarians. The manufacturer notes there is no fishy aftertaste.

Softgel shell and oil

The shell is modified corn starch, glycerin and carrageenan, around high oleic sunflower oil with rosemary extract, mixed tocopherols and ascorbyl palmitate. Beta-carotene provides the colour. The label states there is no yeast, dairy, egg, gluten or wheat, and no sugar, salt, or artificial colour, flavour or fragrance.

Choosing a pack size

The suggested use is 1-2 softgels, once or twice a day. At the lowest rate a bottle of 60 lasts 60 days, and at the highest rate about 15 days.

How to use

Take 1-2 softgels, 1 to 2 times daily.
