Product details

A seed oil in double strength softgels

Black currant oil is extracted from black currant seeds, and the manufacturer says this oil contains 14 per cent GLA. This softgel has twice the oil of the regular strength product, 1,000 mg compared with 500 mg.

How the oil is made

The label says the oil is expeller-pressed and hexane-free, and that it contains the omega-3 alpha-linolenic acid and the omega-6 gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). The capsule is bovine gelatin, glycerin and water.

Label details and pack

The label states it is non-GMO and kosher, and not manufactured with yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, corn, milk, egg, fish or shellfish ingredients, though it is produced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens. The bottle contains 100 softgels.

How to use

Take one softgel two times daily with food.
