Omega-3D is a liquid alternative to fish oil capsules, flavoured with natural lemon so it can be taken straight from the spoon. The manufacturer says it is made from fresh, wild-caught fish and presents the omega-3s in triglyceride form.

What is in each teaspoon

A serving of one teaspoon contains 1,560 mg of omega-3 together with 1,000 IU (25 mcg) of vitamin D3. The oil comes from anchovies, sardines, mackerel and herring, with RRR-alpha tocopherol as an antioxidant and rosemary extract as a natural preservative.

Certifications and free-from details

The label states the product is Friend of the Sea certified sustainable and tested non-GMO, and has no gluten, milk derivatives, wheat, soy or synthetic dyes. The bottle holds 237 ml, and the vitamin D3 is carried in olive oil.

How to use

Adults take one teaspoon (about 5 ml) daily with food, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
