This Professional Formula uses a 5-year fermentation process, with a food base fermented together with lactic acid bacteria. The label describes the result as a concentrate of prebiotics, live probiotics and postbiotic metabolites. The formula was developed by microbiologist Dr Iichiroh Ohhira with research scientists from Okayama University.
How it differs and what the label says
The manufacturer says this formula differs from its Original 3-year formula by being fermented for an additional two years. It is labelled 100% vegetarian, gluten free and non-dairy. This pack holds 120 capsules, enough for 60 days at two a day.
How to use
Take one capsule twice daily, with or without food, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
Before you choose
Consult a healthcare professional about use for children under 12 years of age. Contains soy. The manufacturer states it does not contain milk, egg, fish, tree nuts, wheat (gluten), peanuts or sesame seeds. The capsules are blister packed and tamper evident: do not use if the foil blister pack is broken. Food supplement. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Not a substitute for a varied diet. Keep out of reach of children. Consult a doctor before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or under medical supervision. Other ingredients: Water, vegetarian soft-gel capsule (roasted starch, glycerin, food-grade carrageenan from red seaweed and class 1 natural caramel color), safflower oil, glycerin ester, seaweed powder (Lithothamnion calcareum), molasses, Japanese cane and beet sugars, xylo-oligosaccharides, vegetable protein (from fermented soy) and vitamin E (as a preservative).
