A whey protein powder for shakes

Gold Standard 100% Whey is a protein powder drink mix built on a blend of whey protein isolate, whey protein concentrate and hydrolysed whey protein. Each 31 g serving, about one scoop, gives 24 g of protein, 5.5 g of BCAAs and 120 calories, with 1 g of sugar.

Taste, mixing and testing

It is artificially flavoured in vanilla ice cream and designed to mix easily in cold water, milk or another drink. The manufacturer states it is gluten free, made without artificial growth hormones and regularly tested for banned substances (Informed Choice). A serving scoop is included, though it may settle to the bottom during shipping.

How to use

Mix about 1 scoop (31 g) into 180-240 ml (6-8 fl oz) of cold water, milk or another beverage and stir, shake or blend for around 30 seconds until dissolved. Have it after exercise or any time of day, as part of a balanced diet that meets your daily protein needs.
