A soy-free sunflower lecithin powder to stir into juice or shakes or sprinkle over food, rich in naturally occurring phosphatidyl choline.

Product details

What lecithin contains

The product has naturally occurring phosphatidyl choline, which NOW Foods describes as the most abundant phospholipid in the cell membrane, as well as phosphatidyl inositol, phosphatidyl ethanolamine and essential fatty acids. Lecithin also helps fats disperse in water, which is why it is used as an emulsifier.

Pack size and dosing

The suggested use is one and a third tablespoons a day, preferably with a meal. The product is sold by weight rather than volume, so the contents may settle in the pack.

How to use

Take 1 1/3 tablespoons daily, preferably with a meal. Mix into juice or shakes, or sprinkle on food.

Before you choose

Do not eat the freshness packet enclosed. Sold by weight, not volume, so contents may settle. Natural colour variation may occur. It is produced in a facility that processes other ingredients containing common allergens. Store in a cool, dry place after opening. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions. Food supplement. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Not a substitute for a varied diet. Keep out of reach of children. Consult a doctor before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or under medical supervision.
