A single-source plant protein

NOW Sports Pea Protein is a non-GMO vegetable protein isolate made from yellow peas, with 24 g of protein in each serving. The label also notes that each scoop typically provides over 4,200 mg of branched chain amino acids and over 2,000 mg of arginine.

Plain and free from

The powder is unflavoured and contains just one ingredient. The manufacturer describes it as vegan, kosher, halal and Non-GMO Project Verified, with no soy, dairy, artificial sweeteners, aspartame, sucralose or acesulfame-K, and the label refers to Informed Sport testing.

Mixing and storage

Mix one level scoop with cold water, juice or another drink and stir or blend. It is sold by weight, so the contents may settle, and it is best stored somewhere cool, dry and dark after opening.

How to use

Add one level scoop daily to 12 oz (about 355 ml) of cold water, juice or your favourite beverage. Stir and blend.
