Sports Beta-Alanine PowderNOW Foods Sports Beta-Alanine Powder, 500 g (17.6 oz)

A pure single-ingredient powder

The label describes this as pure beta-alanine powder with no other ingredients, using CarnoSyn, a proprietary form of beta-alanine. It is described as vegan, kosher, non-GMO and steroid free.

Mixing and what to expect

Mix 1/2 level teaspoon into 8 fl oz of water or a favourite drink, up to 3 to 4 times daily, leaving at least 2 hours between doses. The label notes that beta-alanine may cause a harmless, temporary tingling sensation on the skin, which normally lessens after a few weeks. The tub holds 500 g and is sold by weight rather than volume.

How to use

Take 1/2 level teaspoon 3 to 4 times daily, mixed into 8 fl oz of water or a favourite drink. For best results allow at least 2 hours between doses.
