An amino acid made from a non-animal source

L-carnitine is a non-essential amino acid that occurs naturally in red meat and other animal foods. NOW Foods describes its version as vegetarian and non-animal sourced, made with Carnipure, and lists it as vegan, non-GMO, kosher and halal.

Capsule and serving

Each hypromellose capsule contains 500 mg of L-carnitine. The label allows one capsule one to three times a day, so you can adjust the amount within that range.
