L-CarnitineNOW Foods L-Carnitine 1,000 mg, 50 Tablets

A single amino acid in tablet form

L-carnitine is a non-essential amino acid found naturally in red meat and other animal foods. NOW states that this version, made with Carnipure, is vegetarian and not animal-sourced.

Stable tartrate form

Pure L-carnitine tends to attract water and can deteriorate quickly. To keep the tablets stable, NOW uses a tartrate form of the amino acid. The tablets carry a vegetarian coating.
