Two strengths of L-arginine

NOW Foods makes L-arginine in two strengths, and this is the 1,000 mg tablet rather than the 500 mg capsule. Arginine is a conditionally essential amino acid, and the brand describes the L-arginine used here as pharmaceutical grade.

Vegetarian and vegan formula

The label lists the tablets as vegetarian and vegan, non-GMO, kosher and halal, with a vegetarian coating of hypromellose, calcium carbonate and glycerin. Made and quality tested in the USA with globally sourced ingredients.

How the pack is used

The suggested use is one tablet twice a day. At that rate a pack of 120 tablets lasts 60 days.

How to use

Take 1 tablet twice daily as needed. Take between meals or at bedtime with at least 8 oz (about 240 ml) of water or juice to help absorption.

The brand advises that people with glaucoma or herpes simplex avoid it unless prescribed by a physician, and that it should not be used after a heart attack or with established coronary artery disease. Made in a facility that also handles allergen-containing ingredients. Natural colour variation may occur. Store in a cool, dry place after opening. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
