Product details

A conditionally essential amino acid

Arginine is described by the manufacturer as a conditionally essential basic amino acid, involved in urea metabolism, DNA synthesis and protein production. NOW Foods says the L-arginine in this product is pharmaceutical grade, supplied in a hypromellose capsule with vegetable-source stearic acid and silicon dioxide.

Formulation and pack size

The product is described as non-GMO, vegetarian/vegan and kosher. The label directs you to take it between meals with water or juice, and at the suggested four capsules a day one 250-capsule bottle lasts a little over two months.

How to use

Take 2 capsules twice daily as needed, between meals, with at least 8 oz (about 240 ml) of water or juice.

Before you choose
