NOW DHA-1000 supplies 1,000 mg of DHA in each softgel, which the brand says is four times the DHA in its regular-strength product at 250 mg per softgel. The fish oil is a concentrate that NOW says is tested for potentially harmful levels of PCBs, dioxins, mercury and other heavy metals.

The label lists the product as halal, non-GMO and GMP quality assured, with a softgel capsule made from bovine gelatin (BSE-free) and a d-alpha tocopherol from sunflower oil. The serving is one softgel a day, so the pack of 90 gives three months.

Take 1 softgel daily with a meal.
