Children's DHA Xtra is a more concentrated version of the brand's children's omega-3 liquid, made for ages one and over. The label states 880 mg of omega-3s per 1.25 ml serving, in a re-esterified triglyceride form, and the brand says it has no fishy aftertaste.

Source and certifications

The oil comes from wild-caught anchovies, sardines, mackerel and herring, and the manufacturer cites Friend of the Sea certification, third-party purity testing and non-GMO testing. It is flavoured with natural flavour and is free from gluten, milk derivatives, wheat, soy and synthetic dyes. A 60 ml bottle gives roughly 48 servings.

How to use

For ages 1 and over, give 1.25 ml daily with food, or as directed by your health care professional or paediatrician. Using the dropper, measure 1.0 ml first and then an additional 0.25 ml. Clean the dropper thoroughly between uses, especially if it touches the child's mouth. Store the bottle with its original cap in the refrigerator.
