As well as magnesium from magnesium oxide, each capsule supplies 20 mg of vitamin C as ascorbic acid. The shell is made from hypromellose and water, and Kirkman states the product is ultra tested and made to cGMP standards.

Beyond the active ingredients, the only other components are the capsule shell and silicon dioxide. The label states the formula is free of milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy and sesame.

How long the bottle lasts

There are 250 capsules in the bottle, and a serving is one capsule. Taken once a day it lasts about eight months, or around four months at two capsules daily.
