Whitening ToothpasteHimalaya Whitening Toothpaste with Turmeric and Coconut Oil 113 g (4 oz), Pack of 2

A botanical whitening toothpaste without fluoride

Himalaya combines golden turmeric with coconut oil in this whitening toothpaste, aiming for a brighter-looking smile and a refreshing brush. The manufacturer describes it as an antiplaque formula that relies on gentle cleaning ingredients. It suits people who prefer a fluoride-free paste with plant-derived ingredients.

Free from a long list of common extras

The formula is free from fluoride, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), carrageenan and gluten. Despite leaving those out, Himalaya says it still foams and tastes as you would expect from a regular toothpaste. The flavour comes from mint essential oil, which leaves the mouth feeling cool and clean. The manufacturer also states that it does not test its toothpaste on animals.

What comes in the pack

You receive two 4 oz tubes, giving a spare ready for when the first runs out or one for a second bathroom. The details given apply to each tube in the pack.

How to use

Use it in place of your regular toothpaste: brush every tooth surface for two minutes, spit out and rinse. Whitening comes from steady, regular brushing. Open one tube at a time and keep the other tube sealed until needed.
