Dandelion root is often used in teas. This cut and sifted Frontier Co-op version can also go into juices, salads, stews and soups, or be brewed as a coffee-style drink. It can be blended into herbal teas too, and the brand suggests it for DIY body care recipes.

Organic, single-ingredient herb

The only ingredient is dandelion root (Taraxacum officinale). It is certified USDA organic and kosher, and non-irradiated. Frontier Co-op has been member-owned since 1976, and the pack contains 453 g (16 oz).

How to use

To make a tea, bring 8 fl oz (about 240 ml) of water to the boil in a pot, add 1 1/2 tsp of the herb, cover and simmer for 10-20 minutes, then strain and serve straight away.
