Organic Cut & Sifted Seedless Rosehips Frontier Co-op Organic Cut & Sifted Seedless Rosehips, 453 g (16 oz)

Dried rosehips for tea and cooking

These are the red-orange fruits of the rose plant, cut and sifted with the seeds removed, sold as a loose herb. Rosehips are used in herbal tea and in foods such as jam, jellies, syrups, bread and pies.

Taste and origin

The brand describes the taste as tangy and fruity with a floral aroma, similar to hibiscus. The rosehips (Rosa canina) are cultivated and processed in Bulgaria, and the label lists them as certified organic, kosher and non-irradiated.

What comes in the pack

The pack holds 453 g (16 oz) of loose herb, labelled as a bulk size. Frontier Co-op is a member-owned company that has been operating since 1976.

How to use

To make a tea, pour 8 oz (about 240 ml) of boiling water over 1 teaspoon of the herb. Cover, steep for 10 minutes, strain and serve immediately.
