Expanding Dental FlossDavids Expanding Dental Floss, Mint, 30 m (32.8 yd)

A refillable dispenser with a waxed floss core

This floss comes in a Davids dispenser designed to be reused, with refills sold separately. The multifilament strand is built for strength and is coated with vegan wax and cocoa butter, so it glides smoothly between teeth.

Flavour and formula

The strand is designed to expand and cover more surface area as you floss, and it is infused with nano-hydroxyapatite. Mint comes from peppermint, spearmint and wintergreen oils. The listing says it is cruelty-free and uses vegan wax. One dispenser holds 30 m (32.8 yd).

How to use

Pull out about 18 inches of floss and wrap it around your middle fingers. Curve it into a C shape around a tooth and slide it up and down the sides, working gently below the gum line. Move to a fresh section of floss for each tooth.

Before you choose

Refills are sold separately if you want to reuse the dispenser. The floss is a mint, waxed type, so it may feel different from unwaxed floss. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
