Mix it yourself, refill and reuse

This is the concentrate half of the Davids mouthwash refill system. You pour the 118 ml (4 fl oz) of concentrate into an empty 16 fl oz bottle and top it up with water, and the brand says one refill makes 96 uses. The empty reusable bottle is sold separately.

A mint blend with no alcohol

The formula is alcohol-free and described by the brand as non-burning, flavoured with an essential oil blend of peppermint, spearmint, wintergreen and lemon. It also contains nano hydroxyapatite and xylitol, and the brand describes the ingredients as naturally sourced or naturally derived.

How to use

Do not use it until diluted. Pour the concentrate into an empty 473 ml (16 fl oz) mouthwash bottle, fill the remainder with water up to the bottom of the neck, then replace the cap and shake to mix. After brushing and flossing, swish one capful for 30 seconds and spit out, then gargle another capful for 30 seconds and spit out. The label says to use it twice a day.

Vegetable glycerin, purified water, xylitol (birch derived), peg-40 hydrogenated castor oil, sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), hydroxyapatite, mentha piperita (peppermint) oil, sodium benzoate, mentha viridis (spearmint) leaf oil, pimpinella anisum (anise) seed extract, gaultheria procumbens (wintergreen) leaf oil, citrus limon (lemon) peel oil, potassium chloride (potassium salt), stevia (leaf extract).
