Organic Mullein Tea Alpi Nature Organic Mullein Tea 125 g (4.4 oz) Dried Leaves

A plant with a long history of use

Mullein is a hairy biennial plant with small yellow flowers. Its soft leaves were once used for practical things such as shoe insoles and nappy lining, and today they are mainly used for making tea.

A mild cup on its own or blended

Brewed, the leaves give a sweet, slightly herbal flavour. The manufacturer suggests drinking it as it is or blending it with peppermint for a more refreshing cup.

Certified organic leaves

Alpi Nature states the leaves come from certified organic cultivation that meets EU organic standards, certified by Nutramed (control body BG-BIO-22). The 125 g pack contains only cut organic mullein leaves.

How to use

Add 1-2 teaspoons of the herb to 250 ml of hot water, steep for 3-5 minutes, then strain. A strainer or infuser makes brewing easier.

Before you choose

This is loose-leaf herb rather than tea bags, so you will need a strainer, infuser or teapot. Always read the label, warnings and directions before use.
