From a newly developed tea cultivar

This blend is made from Seimei, a tea plant cultivar that the regional cooperative in Chiran developed in 2017 to bring out more flavour in matcha. Naoki Matcha says Seimei is known for its vivid green colour and distinctive aroma, and because it is not yet in full commercial production, only around 150 kg is available each year.

Smooth texture with nutty malt notes

The Chiran Harvest is described as having a very smooth, creamy texture with nutty, malty flavours. The brand positions it for traditional matcha tea, where those qualities are most noticeable.

Part of the Master's Collection

The Master's Collection is Naoki Matcha's range of standout blends from the growers it works with. This limited edition comes from Kagoshima Prefecture, a region the brand says now produces matcha to rival better-known areas such as Uji and Shizuoka.
