Whisper Bio-Bag Large Filter Cartridges for AquariumsTetra Whisper Bio-Bag Large Filter Cartridges for Aquariums, 3 Count

Replacement cartridges for Tetra Whisper filters

These Bio-Bag cartridges are the disposable carbon inserts used in Tetra Whisper aquarium filters. Each one has a dense, dual-sided mesh designed to trap debris and fish waste as water passes through, while the carbon inside helps keep the water clear. Swapping in a fresh cartridge is a simple part of routine tank maintenance.

Ready to drop in

The cartridges arrive fully assembled, so there is no need to fill bags with carbon or cut media to size. Tetra colour-codes its packs to help you pick the correct size for your filter, and this pack contains the large size.

What comes in the pack

The pack holds three large Bio-Bag filter cartridges. With a monthly change, that is roughly three months of replacements for a single filter.

How to use

Rinse the cartridge under cool tap water to wash away loose carbon dust, then fit it into the filter. Replace it monthly, or sooner if water flow drops, as the carbon loses effectiveness after about 30 days.

Before you choose

These cartridges are designed for Tetra Whisper filters, so check that the large size matches your filter model before ordering. They will not suit other filter brands. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
