Squigle Tooth Builder skips mint and strong flavours entirely, so it suits people who get a sore mouth from regular sensitive toothpaste. The formula contains no fluoride and is described by the manufacturer as hypoallergenic. It is made in the USA.

Nano calcite and xylitol explained

Squigle says the 18.5% nano calcite is designed to seal open dentinal tubules, the cause it identifies behind sensitive teeth. Xylitol makes up 36% of the paste, far more than standard toothpaste, and is included with the aim of limiting plaque.

Gentle on foam

There is no sodium lauryl sulfate or cocamidopropyl betaine in the formula, and the foaming action is mild. That makes it a calmer paste for twice-daily brushing.

How to use

Apply a pea-sized amount to a soft-bristled toothbrush and brush in circular motions for about 2 minutes, covering all tooth surfaces. Rinse thoroughly with water. Squigle suggests using it twice a day.

Before you choose

This toothpaste is fluoride-free, so it is not for you if you want fluoride in your paste. It is for external use only: do not swallow it, and keep it out of reach of children.
