A leucine metabolite with vitamin D3
Solaray uses myHMB, supplied as calcium 3-hydroxy-3-methylbutyrate monohydrate, and notes that HMB is a metabolite of the amino acid leucine that the body produces naturally. The vitamin D is cholecalciferol sourced from algae, and the calcium in the HMB adds 411 mg of calcium to each scoop.
A citrus-flavoured scoop for exercise days
The scoop for this flavour is 4.6 g, mixed into water or another drink once a day as needed or before exercise. Citric acid and natural lemon and lime flavourings give the taste, with sea salt and steviol glycoside, and the label lists 10 calories and 3 g carbohydrate per scoop.
