Sodium AscorbateNutriBiotic Sodium Ascorbate, 250 Vegan Capsules

A buffered, non-acidic form of vitamin C

Sodium ascorbate is a buffered form of vitamin C, made by combining L-ascorbic acid with sodium hydrogen carbonate. NutriBiotic gives the capsule contents a pH of 7.1, close to neutral. The sodium is not combined with chloride, so it differs from ordinary table salt.

What each capsule contains

Each capsule is labelled as providing 850 mg of vitamin C and 100 mg of sodium. The manufacturer describes the sodium ascorbate as pharmaceutical grade (USP-FCC) and says it contains no corn residue, plant antigens or protein impurities.

What comes in the pack

The pack holds 250 vegan capsules. The manufacturer states they are gluten free, made with non-GMO ingredients and not tested on animals, with no fillers, binders, starch, sweeteners, colourings, flavourings or preservatives added.
