Super Chitosan 3000 Natural Balance Super Chitosan 3000, 120 VegCaps (750 mg per Capsule)

A marine-sourced fibre supplement

Chitosan is an insoluble, non-digestible fibre made from chitin, which occurs in the shells of crustaceans such as shrimp, crabs and lobsters. Natural Balance supplies it at 750 mg per vegetable capsule. The capsule shell is vegetable cellulose, with cellulose, magnesium stearate and silica as other ingredients.

How the brand positions it

The pack describes it as a functional fibre for lifestyle care, and notes that chitosan has no caloric value because it is not digestible. As with any fibre supplement, the brand advises taking it before meals with a full glass of liquid.

How to use

Use only as directed. Take four VegCaps 30 minutes before meals, with 8 oz (about 240 ml) of liquid.
