A pineapple-derived enzyme

Bromelain is a proteolytic (protein-digesting) enzyme derived from the stem of the pineapple plant. Each capsule provides 500 mg at an activity of 2,400 GDU/g, in a cellulose capsule that suits vegetarian and vegan diets.

Free-from and quality details

The label describes the product as non-GMO, kosher and made to GMP quality standards in the USA with globally sourced ingredients. It is not made with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish, tree nut or sesame ingredients, though it is produced in a facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.

Pack and serving size

The pack holds 120 capsules, with a label serving of one capsule once or twice a day, taken with or between meals. That gives roughly two to four months per bottle depending on how many you take.

Take one capsule once or twice daily, with or between meals.

Before you choose

For adults only. Do not use if you have a pineapple allergy. The manufacturer advises consulting a physician if pregnant or nursing, taking medication (especially anti-platelet medication) or if you have a medical condition. Natural colour variation may occur.
