87 01 250 Cobra Water Pump PliersKNIPEX 87 01 250 Cobra Water Pump Pliers, 25.4 cm (10 in)

Grip pipes and nuts with less effort

The KNIPEX Cobra is designed to lock itself onto pipes and nuts, so very little hand force is needed to keep hold once the jaws are set. You can resize the jaws with a push of a button while the pliers are already on the workpiece. That makes them handy for plumbing jobs and fittings in awkward spaces.

Forged and hardened steel

The pliers are forged from chrome vanadium electric steel and oil-hardened, with teeth hardened to approximately 61 HRC for a firm bite. A box-joint design adds stability, and a pinch guard helps protect your fingers when the handles close.

Size and adjustment

At 10 inches long, this is a mid-sized pair that suits a general toolbox. The jaws open to take objects up to 2 inches, with 25 positions to choose from.

How to use

Set the jaws around the pipe or nut and squeeze the handles so the pliers lock on, then turn. Press the button to resize the jaws while the pliers stay on the workpiece.

Before you choose

These are adjustable water pump pliers, not a pipe wrench or locking grip pliers with a clamp lever. Check the 2 inch capacity covers the pipes and nuts you work with. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
