Emergen-C is a powder that you stir into water, with each packet making one raspberry-flavoured drink. Alongside the vitamin C, each packet lists seven B vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9 and B12), zinc and manganese, and the label describes it as caffeine-free, gluten-free and vegetarian.

Flavour and sweetening

Colour and flavour come from natural sources, including fruit juice concentrates and beet juice concentrate. The drink is sweetened with sugar, fructose and stevia leaf extract. You can add more water for a lighter flavour, and one packet a day makes the 30-packet box a 30-day supply.

How to use

Ages 14 and up: empty one packet into a glass, add 4-6 oz (about 120-180 ml) of water and stir. Use more water for a lighter flavour. One packet daily.
