A liquid zinc with a short ingredient list
Instead of a tablet or capsule, this is a liquid supplement that you measure by the tablespoon. The only other ingredient listed is de-ionised water, and the label states there is no sugar, starch, artificial flavour, colour, preservatives or animal by-products.
How Eidon describes its process
The maker says it uses a proprietary process that turns pure mineral crystals into a fully hydrated ionic liquid. The label also describes the product as vegan, gluten free, non-GMO, BPA free and naturally derived. Each serving provides 7.5 mg of zinc and the bottle holds 36 servings.
How to use
Take one tablespoon per day in water. Children under five take half a dose. The label also states that it can be applied topically.
Before you choose
Store at room temperature with the bottle tightly closed, and do not freeze. Follow the reduced dose given on the label for children under five. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions. Food supplement. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Not a substitute for a varied diet. Keep out of reach of children. Consult a doctor before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or under medical supervision.
