Downy describes this as a crease remover, static remover, odour eliminator, fabric refresher and ironing aid in one bottle. The formula relaxes fabric fibres so creases can be smoothed out by hand, while a light scent freshens clothes between washes.

Not just for clothes

Downy suggests it for curtains, tablecloths, sheets and pillowcases too, so it is useful around the home as well as in the wardrobe. It suits busy mornings, students and anyone wanting a quick touch-up without setting up an iron or steamer.

A large refill-size bottle

This is the 33.8 fl oz (1 litre) bottle with a spray head, roughly 29 cm tall. The larger size is better for regular home use than for packing in a bag.

How to use

Hold the bottle about 20 cm (8 inches) from the fabric and spray with a sweeping motion until it is slightly damp. Gently tug and smooth away creases, then hang to dry.
