Baking soda and sea salt for everyday cleaning
Desert Essence uses baking soda and sea salt to clean teeth gently, with calcium carbonate as the base. The brand says Australian tea tree oil helps defend against sugar acids, while cooling peppermint keeps breath fresh. Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate is used as the cleanser in place of SLS.
A botanical blend for teeth and gums
Aloe leaf juice is included for a soothing feel, alongside white tea extract, Ayurvedic neem, witch hazel and bamboo extract. Zinc citrate and vitamin C (as calcium ascorbate) are also part of the formula, which is sweetened with stevia. Desert Essence presents the blend as complete care for teeth and gums.
