Davids uses its Hydroxi formulation, featuring Fluidinova NanoXIM nano-hydroxyapatite, combined with micro polishing agents for gentle surface-stain removal. The manufacturer lists an RDA abrasivity value of 101 for the paste. Calcium carbonate, baking soda and hydrated silica are among the main ingredients.

Formula and flavour

The peppermint flavour comes from natural oils, with spearmint, wintergreen and anise also listed, and xylitol and stevia included. The manufacturer states there are no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives, describes it as vegan with no animal by-products, and says it is EWG Verified. The tube holds 4 oz.

What whitening means here

Whitening here means lifting surface stains through regular brushing. It is not a bleaching product, so do not expect a change in the natural shade of your teeth.

How to use

Apply a small amount to a soft-bristle toothbrush and brush thoroughly for at least two minutes, covering all surfaces. Rinse your mouth and toothbrush thoroughly afterwards.

This is a fluoride-free toothpaste, so it may not suit you if you prefer a fluoride routine. It contains coconut oil and carrageenan. For external use only. Do not swallow.
