Carlson, a supplement maker since 1965, labels this formula gluten-free with no artificial preservatives. Each three-soft-gel serving supplies 300 mg EPA and 200 mg DHA from 1 g of fish oil concentrate, plus 220 mg GLA from 1 g of borage oil.
The added vitamins and zinc
The same serving lists 1,500 mcg RAE of vitamin A (95% as beta carotene and 5% as mixed carotenoids), 300 mg vitamin C, 15 mcg vitamin D, 60.3 mg vitamin E from soy, 20 mg vitamin B6, 300 mcg biotin and 7.5 mg zinc from zinc gluconate.
Pack size
The bottle holds 180 soft gels, which is 60 servings or two months at three a day. The shell is made from beef gelatin, glycerin, water and carob.
How to use
Adults take three soft gels a day with a meal.
Before you choose
This product contains fish (anchovy, sardine and mackerel), and its vitamin E is sourced from soy. The beef gelatin shell means it is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans. Other ingredients: Soft gel shell (beef gelatin, glycerin, water, carob), beeswax, di-calcium phosphate, olive oil, medium chain triglyceride oil. Contains fish (anchovy, sardine and mackerel).
