Organic Greek Mountain Tea Alpi Nature Organic Greek Mountain Tea 200 g (7.1 oz)

A traditional herbal tea from Greek mountains

Greek mountain tea is made from the Sideritis plant, which grows in the mountainous regions of Greece. This pack contains cut flower stalks with their leaves and stems, organically grown and listed as produced in Greece. It can be enjoyed hot or cold.

A mild, gently floral cup

The flavour is mild and slightly earthy, with subtle floral and herbal notes. Because the herb is naturally caffeine free, it works as a cup for any time of day, including the evening.

Certified organic, in a 200 g pack

The manufacturer states it comes from certified organic cultivation meeting EU organic standards, with Nutramed as the control body. The 200 g net weight gives a good supply for regular brewing.

How to use

The manufacturer suggests 1-2 teaspoons in 250 ml of hot water, steeped for 5-7 minutes and then strained, ideally with a strainer or infuser. The label directions also give a stronger method: pour boiling water over 1-2 tablespoons per 250 ml cup and leave covered for about 10 minutes.

Before you choose

This is a loose herbal product made from stalks, leaves and stems, not tea bags, so you will need a strainer, infuser or teapot. If you need to avoid a particular ingredient, check the label on the pack you receive.
