Standard OBD-II diagnostics on your phone

Plugged into the OBD-II port, this adapter reads and clears trouble codes and shows freeze frame data, I/M readiness and live sensor data through a compatible app. It is aimed at standard OBD-II functions rather than full-system scanning.

Bluetooth LE and app choice

The adapter connects by Bluetooth LE on iOS and Android, and Android can also use classic Bluetooth; it does not use Wi-Fi. It works with apps including Car Scanner ELM OBD2, Torque (Android) and OBD Fusion.

What comes in the box

You get the OBDCheck BLE adapter, a mini carrying case and user instructions. The listing gives a 1 year manufacturer replacement warranty.

How to use

Plug the adapter into the vehicle's OBD-II port, then pair it by Bluetooth with a compatible app on your phone. Open the app and follow its prompts to read the data.

Before you choose

A compatible third-party app is required, and some apps or features are paid. It is not compatible with Carly, MHD, xHP, ProTool or bootmod3. Advanced functions depend on your vehicle and the app, and compatibility is stated for most 1996-onwards US cars and light trucks, so check yours before ordering. Check it suits your power or charging setup. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
