The OBDCheck BLE+ plugs into your vehicle's OBD II port and pairs with your phone through a compatible app. Once connected, it can show freeze frame data, I/M readiness status and live sensor readings alongside any stored fault codes. It turns a phone into a pocket diagnostic tool for home checks before a garage visit.

Works through the app you choose

The scanner uses Bluetooth LE for both iOS and Android rather than WiFi, and also offers classic Bluetooth for certain Android apps. Supported apps include Car Scanner ELM OBD2, Torque, OBD Fusion, BimmerCode and BimmerLink. How much advanced data you can see depends on the make, model and year of your vehicle.

You receive the OBDCheck BLE+ scanner, a carrying case and a user manual. The unit weighs about 2.12 ounces and comes with a 1 year manufacturer warranty.

How to use

Plug the scanner into the OBD II port, then pair it through a compatible app to read or clear codes and view data. The scanner does not work on its own without an app.
