Gentle Charcoal ToothbrushTom's of Maine Gentle Charcoal Toothbrush, Soft, Pack of 4

Softer bristles for a gentler brush

The brand says these charcoal-infused bristles are twice as soft as an ordinary flat-trim toothbrush. That makes this a sensible pick if a standard brush feels harsh, while still cleaning teeth and helping lift surface stains.

A recycled-plastic handle

Each handle is made from 50% post-consumer recycled plastic, and the bristles are BPA-free. When the bristles wear out, the brushes can be recycled through the Tom's of Maine TerraCycle collection programme.

Four brushes for the year ahead

With replacement recommended every three months, a pack of four covers about a year for one person, or gives a fresh brush to several people at once. Packaging may vary from the images shown.

How to use

Brush twice a day for two minutes each time, using gentle pressure so you do not damage the gums. Replace the brush every three months.

Before you choose

This is a manual toothbrush with ultra-soft bristles, so it suits people who prefer a gentle brush rather than a firm one. Check that the TerraCycle collection scheme operates where you live before relying on it for recycling. US-market product: packaging and label wording may differ from UK versions.
