Standardised white kidney bean extract
The extract is sourced from purified white kidney beans (Phaseolus vulgaris) and standardised to 6% phaseolamin, which Swanson describes as an alpha-amylase inhibitor. The formula is stimulant-free, so it contains no caffeine-type ingredients.
Taken alongside meals
The tablet is designed to be taken with food, one per meal, with the option of two alongside a meal high in carbohydrates. Each tablet has an enteric coating over a standard outer coating, and the label describes it as vegan.
What comes in the bottle
One small bottle of 90 tablets, about 7.2 x 3.8 x 3.8 cm. At one tablet with each of three meals, that is a 30-day supply.
How to use
Take one tablet with each meal. Two tablets may be taken with meals that are high in carbohydrates.
