Three ingredients at a two-tablet serving

This extra strength Solgar formula puts glucosamine hydrochloride, chondroitin sulphate and MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) together, with the daily amount split across two tablets. The glucosamine used is shellfish free.

What is left out

The manufacturer states the tablets are free of yeast, wheat, soy and dairy, and are made without preservatives, artificial flavours or artificial colours. Solgar says it makes its supplements in small batches.

Jar size and packaging

The 120 tablets come in an amber glass jar, which the manufacturer describes as 100% recyclable. At two tablets a day that is a two-month supply, and the jar measures about 7.5 x 7.5 x 13.7 cm.

How to use

For adults, take two tablets a day, preferably at mealtime, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Do not exceed the directions for use.
