Sugar granules in a rich oil base

Sucrose is the first ingredient, so the scrubbing action comes from sugar, with caramel also in the formula. They sit in a base of macadamia seed oil, candelilla wax, meadowfoam seed oil, shea butter, jojoba seed oil and olive fruit oil. The list also includes lemon, apple, orange and papaya fruit extracts, plus a rice ferment filtrate (sake).

A polish after cleansing

The scrub is massaged onto damp skin after cleansing, then rinsed away with lukewarm water. SKINFOOD says it is designed to refine skin texture and moisturise, leaving skin feeling smooth and soft. The brand states it is skin irritation tested.

The jar holds 210 g (7.4 oz) and measures about 9 x 8.9 x 7.5 cm boxed.

How to use

After cleansing, apply to wet skin and massage gently in circular movements, keeping it away from the eyes. Rinse off with lukewarm water.

Before you choose

This is a physical sugar scrub, not an acid exfoliant. Avoid contact with the eyes. The formula contains lanolin, macadamia seed oil and fragrance (including limonene and citral), so check the ingredients if you have known sensitivities or a nut allergy.
